Italian and Mexican Food in Toronto are on
my mind. Even with all the restaurants I can choose from, the good places to eat in Toronto are
Grand Electric and Buca. They are what I call Hipster joints. I am usually not a fan of ‘hipsters’, but
they sure have great taste in places they eat and hang out. I find the place is
usually rather small, but who cares, the food tastes good and it is all that
matters.

Grand
Electric Patio
Grand Electric is a Mexican inspired
restaurant with your usual tacos and guacamole with a twist. First off, the
patio is a cute little backyard like ambience with rows of picnic tables where
you enjoy your array of finger foods with absolutely no cutlery involved. It is
a little messy, but fun as I always end up trying to shove the entire pork
belly taco into my mouth. I am drooling as I write this post out of hunger for
my absolute favorite fish tacos in
toronto.

Buca
Restaurant
Buca is one of the good places to eat in Toronto. If you love charcuterie, flat
bread pizza, and of course freshly made pasta in a distillery district kind
of environment, you have got to go. Also, if you want a taste of Italy you will
find that almost all the waiters that work there look well put together, very
European and most of their heavy Italian accent will always have you asking
them to repeat your order. I am sure they are used to it by now, it must be a
fake accent just for the atmosphere (just kidding).
Anyways, try it and tell me what you think?
Ps. Go early, super packed. For more information please look at their websites:
